McCarroll Plant Hire is a 3rd generation family run business
After dealing in the car trade for many years, Barney McCarroll retired and his son Rory took over. He occasionally hired out cars and this is when the idea of the present business materialised.
Gradually the amount of equipment increased. The business is still dealing with firms from which Rory bought his first machines.
Rory’s son, Michael, entered the business in 2000 and continued the expansion. At present there are over 1,000 items of equipment for hire.
